Trabzonspor Basketbol has accelerated its efforts to strengthen its roster before the new season. The Bordo-mavililer have agreed in principle with Fenerbahçe Beko's young basketball player Yiğit Hamza Mestoğlu.
Mestoğlu's Career
Mestoğlu started his career in the Bandırma youth academy. In 2019, he was transferred to the youth academy of UCAM Murcia, one of Spain's important clubs. Mestoğlu played for both the youth and A teams, and gained his first professional experience in the Spanish ACB League.

After overcoming a serious knee injury last season, Yiğit Hamza Mestoğlu returned to the courts and regained his form, putting up notable performances in both the Turkish Basketball League and Fenerbahçe's organization. He was also part of the Fenerbahçe team that won the EuroLeague championship.

Trabzonspor Basketbol has strengthened its roster by adding the young player, enhancing its rotation under the basket. Mestoğlu is considered one of the important names in the youth national teams.
